butter London Slapper
After watching a video by the lovely Lisa Eldridge, I saw this colour on her nails and I just had to have it. At a price of $19.95 however, the butter LONDON 3 Free Nail Lacquer in the colour Slapper was not a purchase that I instantly laid my hands on. But I was disappointed with anything else I put on my nails and was finally convinced by the colour and the lack of formaldehyde, toluene and no DBP.
Two coats of colour later and I was completely satisfied with this beautiful teal green. The consistency of the polish is smooth and glides on easily with a lovely brush. It dries streak free with a great gloss. Without a top coat and several days of constant hard use of my hands, the polish lasted around a week before seriously chipping enough for me to want it off. I am using a top coat this week, however, and I'm curious to see how long it will last now.
All in all it's a great nail polish and the colour payoff after two coats is brilliant and glossy.
I purchased it from $19.95 at a health food store in Westfield Australia.
You can also purchase it for $22 from Adore Beauty that claim to match the price of any authorised Australian retailer and provide free shipping within Australia.
The Iconic is also selling a duo of Slapper and a glittery Henley Regatta for $40 or a set of 5 in the The Spring/Summer Colllection: Bossy Boots, Disco Biscuit, Knackered, Slapper, Trout Pout for $99 with free shipping over $50 in Australia.
Happy painting! Painting? Hmm, sounds odd.
