High Impact Mascara Clinique

I love love love this High Impact Mascara by Clinique. I'm not a massive fan of really dark, super volumising mascaras that make eyelashes look as if they're fake even though I know a lot of people love that look. I just don't like it on myself, especially not for everyday use. This mascara, however, manages to lengthen, thicken and volumise slightly, whilst leaving a natural look on your lashes that makes your lashes look much much better than normal.

This mascara has become a staple for me. I now feel strange when I leave the house without it and any other mascara is fine, but just not as good as this one. I know many people can't wait to take their makeup off but when I'm wearing this, I dread that time. I don't use the waterproof version; waterproof mascara and I do not work well together but when the Australian Summer comes I may be singing a different tune.. For now though, I love this version. If I make a mistake when I'm putting it on, it wipes away easily but also sets and dries quite quickly as well. It stays in place the entire day but is still so easy to take off when need be. 

The brush is quite easy to apply and any slight (and I do mean very slight, if any) clumping that occurs only adds to the thickening and volumising appearance of the lashes. It's also hypoallergenic and fragrance-free so no eye watering will be seen! It hasn't dried out and I've had it for quite a while. You can build it if you'd like a thicker, blacker look but I recommend using it as an everyday defining mascara instead.
